What Is Pure Tungsten Rod?
Pure tungsten rods are made from tungsten with a purity of 99.95% or higher. Tungsten is a metal known for its extremely high melting point, high density, high hardness, and excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. Due to their unique physical and chemical properties, pure tungsten rods are widely used in electronics, lighting, medical equipment, high-temperature furnaces, aerospace, military, and other high-tech industries. For example, they can serve as electrodes, filaments, heating elements, or support pieces in high-temperature environments for electronic products. Pure tungsten rods are also used in the manufacturing of various tungsten products, such as tungsten wire, tungsten plates, and other tungsten shapes.

SURFACE FINISH
●Black – The surface is “as swaged” or “as drawn,” retaining a coating of processing lubricants and oxides.
●Cleaned – The surface is chemically cleaned to remove all lubricants and oxides.
●Ground – The surface is centerless ground to remove all coating and to achieve precise diameter control.
